Ein Sketchbook Kunstprojekt

Ein künstlerischer Ausdruck kann Dinge sagen, für die uns noch die Worte fehlen. Das Sketchbook Projekt "Justice.Peace.Imagination" ermöglicht deine eigene Auseinandersetzung mit Gerechtigkeit und Frieden. Es ermutigt dazu, die eigene Vorstellungskraft als wichtige Ressource zur Mitgestaltung unserer Welt wiederzuentdecken.

                                      Wo begegnen dir Gerechtigkeit und Frieden in deiner Lebenswelt (nicht)?

                     Und wie sieht sie aus: Unsere Welt, die gerecht und in Frieden ist?

Diese beiden Fragen stellen wir 300 Menschen, die sich durch ihre Kunst ausdrücken. Menschen, die unterschiedlicher nicht sein könnten und deren Stimmen unbedingt gehört werden sollten. Wir laden sie ein, ein eigenes Sketchbook zu gestalten. Es kommt ganz leer bei ihnen an und nach 4 Monaten als gefülltes Kunstwerk zu uns zurück.

Und dann… entsteht eine Ausstellung. Eine einzigartige Bibliothek - vielseitig, tiefgreifend, sehr persönlich, zum Anfassen. Die Sketchbooks gehen auf Reise und können besucht werden. Sie beginnen, ihre Geschichten zu erzählen and eröffnen dadurch Dimensionen von Frieden und Gerechtigkeit, die so noch nicht gezeigt wurden. Das, was wir heute Utopie nennen, wird vorstellbar und verbindet sich mit echten Erfahrungen. Die Sketchbooks stellen denen, die sie betrachten, ihre Fragen zurück:

                                          Wo begegnen dir Gerechtigkeit und Frieden in deiner Lebenswelt (nicht)?

                       Und wie sieht sie aus: Unsere Welt, die gerecht und in Frieden ist?

Sketchbook art project

Through artistic expression we are able to say things we haven’t got the words for, yet.

The sketchbook project “Justice.Peace.Imagination” encourages you to rediscover your imagination as an important resource in helping shape this world. It gives you the chance to reflect on justice and peace, personally.

Where do you (or don’t you) encounter justice and peace in your living environment?

                                                                        And what does it look like: our world – just and at peace?

300 people who express themselves through their art are asked these two questions. People who could not be more diverse and whose voices should absolutely be heard. We invite them to create their own sketchbook. It will arrive totally blanc in their hands and will be returned to us after 4 months as a brimming artwork.

And then… an exhibition will come into being. A unique library – versatile, profound, very personal, touchable. The sketchbooks will go on a journey and will be welcoming you as visitors. They will start telling their stories and they will open up dimensions of peace and justice that have not been seen anywhere else, before. What’s now called utopia becomes conceivable and builds a connection with real experiences.

The sketchbooks themselves will ask you, those who look at them, the same questions:
